The Dutch popular TV station, RTL News has brought to the Dutch public the marvels that VoicesofAfrica mobile reporters have been achieving since the launch in May this year. Focusing on Evans Wafula, the mobile reporter in Nairobi Kenya, RTL News Ruud Elmendorp shows the different steps a mobile report goes through, that is, data collecting, filming, composing and uploading.
The result is, as the report shows, that mobile reports get posted only minutes after they are written, and, amazingly enough, from the spot itself. A Media revolution is underway and this is just the beginning.
