The students are the second batch of pioneer students.
The university is still under construction in Lupane, 170 kilometers North-west of Bulawayo.
Bongani Dube, who graduated with a degree in Agricultural Sciences told this reporter that his studies were hampered by the distance between the campus (where he does his practicals) and the classes in Bulawayo.
‘We incurred a lot of costs and lost a lot of time travelling to and from the farm where we used to do our practicals’, said Bongani who also showed his relief of completing his degree program.
He also called for the speedy completion of the university as this will better the performance of students. President Robert Mugabe presided over the graduation ceremony.
