Zimbabwe: Elderly feel left to their lot

The US$20 that we get a month is not enough to do anything’.
Most pensioners and the elderly residents are living below the poverty line. They get an average of US$20 per month from the Social Welfare but it is not enough to sustain them for a month.
These residents also complaining that service providers do not take into consideration that they cannot afford to pay for the services. These service providers disconnect them from accessing water and electricity and this has also posed a danger of a health disaster looming.
