On the contrary, Mr. Mensa, a fisherman, who spends much of his time at the river bank, believes it's spiritual. Speaking to Mr. Mensa in an interview, he said the weeds which are locally known as "Ako" in between the pillars of the bridge symbolizes a cloth of a strange god that has come to settled there. Interestingly, he added that this strange god is from a different region and has come to settle there because, the people of the town has broken a taboo. Also aside the weeds, under this bridge were full of dirt and unkempt.
