  1. EASTER AL-SHABAB TERRORIST THREATS FAIL


    - Towards this Easter festive season there were terrorist threats from the AL-shabab terrorists in Somalia that they wanted to launch attacks on Uganda.the inspector general of police Maj general Kare kayihura warned.he serious cautioned all Ugandans to be security conscious.he promised that police would offer maximum security.but as per now there are no an such kind of attacks,and many Ugandans enjoyed their festive as different people prayed from different places.

    - Today morning col rtd Dr Kiza Besigye leader of opposition forum for democratic change was arrested by police at Kalerwe a Kampala suburb while he had gotten out of his car to walk to work.Besigye was begged by women residents from his home in Kasangati not to start walking from their place in fear of the chaos.Besigye agreed to use his car ,he went to the petal station and put only three liters which took him up to Kalerwe round about.amidst heavy crowds Besigye was arrested and taken to Wandegeya police station from where he has been taken to court.In the same strggle Nobert Mao has been transfered to Nakasongola prison,the prison spokes person Frank Beine says they have done this for Ma…

  3. WHERE IS THE DEMOCRACY?


    - when people in Uganda walk to work,mainly the opposition figures,the government is on pressure to arrest them and charge them.many Ugandans are questioning the type of democracy the movement [NRM] government has been promising for the last 26 years in power.but the president of Uganda general Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has come out to criticize these opposition leaders and even reaching an extent of using a abusive language.the police is using excessive force against these political figure.However these politicians are determined to keep the pressure on the government till the fuel prices go down.

  4. NOBERT MAOS SECOND NIGHT IN PRISON


    - after two nights in Luzira prisons 7kms on lake victoria south of Kampala city in Uganda,east Africa,the president general of the opposition party [democratic party] still feels strong after his party members vows to march on foot to visit him in the prison.Norbert Mao was taken to Luzira prison after he refused a court bail,having been arrested for walk to work campaign due to the increase in fuel prices and prices of other good,together in prison in Samuel Lubega also a former presidential elections in the Feb 18th general elections who was standing on an independent ticket.
