The credibility of Elections Cameroon, ELECAM, the body charged with the conduct of the October 9th 2011 presidential elections has suffered yet another setback after one of its members Pauline Biyong was found guilty against accusations by the press of drumming support for the CPDM presidential candidate Paul Biya and obtaining the contract to run his campaign promotion. - A presidential decree by Paul Biya late last Friday confirmed her repudiation as member of ELECAM following a decision reached by the board just two days before electors went to the polls for the elections.
