These students seek for different specialisations to fulfil their destiny. In Somaliland, state run universities are less then six in number and offer few similar fields of studies.     - President Ahmed Mohamed Siilanyo has sworn in for Somaliland presidency this morning. He took over the power from the former president Riyaale after defeating him in an election late last month. The former president handed over the power in a ceremony held in the presidential palace in Hargeisa this morning. Delegates from Djabouti, Kenya, and Ethiopian government travelled the last thirty six hours in to Hargeisa to participate in this ceremony. African should fellow the example Somaliland has set,” said Djibouti ministry of information Ali Abdalle, yesterday on his arrival in Hargeisa.     - International Book Fair kicked off on Friday in the main venue of Ministry of Labor. The event was co-organized by Redsea Online, Kayd and Ilays and is to last until the 27th of July. This year the theme for the fair was ‘citizenship’ designed to kick start a debate around the topics of civil rights, responsibilities, ownership and about society.   6. Somaliland: Condolences from President Elected to Ugandan Po


    - In a press release yesterday, Somaliland’s new elected president sent a condolences to the families that lost love once in the recent Al-shabaab attack in Uganda. He called the attack an act of evil and nothing could justify the killing civilians. He urged strong unity of the international community against any one who want to create chaos in the horn of Africa. In addition, the president elected Ahmed Mohamed Mohamoud Siilanyo indicated that Somaliland had the same experience two years ago by the same group.
