- Washington-DC June 7, Women Deliver 2010, the largest meeting on global maternal health in the last ten years, begins today in Washington DC. UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon will deliver opening remarks and US Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton will address participants via video. The leading day of the three-day gathering will take stock of progress that has been made in improving global maternal health while assessing the challenges that remain.
