As kids growing up we enjoyed playing indigenous games such as mumbles', skipping, making wired cars and etc. We used the busy and dusty streets as our playing grounds and our parents could easy know our where about. I spoke to Dalen who enjoy playing in the deep.
The freedom of playing anywhere that today’s children enjoy has caused too many problems in our society such as kids gone missing, drug consumption in neglected areas, etc.
I Visited a neglected area where youngsters played and practiced their fishing skills, in a meter-deep river near Johannesburg. They said to me it was save for them to play there.
