Private sector stimulates growth
- Posted on Thursday 28 February 2008 - 11:23Olivier Nyirubugara, The Hague, The Netherlands[MOBILE VIDEO] The International Monetary Fund has described Mozambique's economy as one of the fastest growing in Africa.Loading video...Salimo Abdul, the chairman of the Entrepreneurs’ association called the Confederation of the Economic Associations of Mozambique, says that the president’s business background played a decisive role in the process.
Salimo told AfricaNews in The Hague that starting up a company in Mozambique has been simplified which lured many more investors. “Mozambique is a virgin country”, he said.
Salimo is part of the delegation accompanying president Armando Guebuza in the Netherlands.
