Obama campaign reaches Zanzibar

The giant portraits and pro Obama slogans in the streets and villages of Zanzibar might push a new comer to think that the island is part of the United States. There they believe that the World has become a global village and feel much concerned about the November elections in the US.

“We believe! Yes we can!”, chant the members the Obama committee.

“Like Obama, I am myself an optimist”, says a youngster known as Campaign Chairman among his friends. He adds “What happens in Kenya can affect us in Zanzibar, and what happens far in theUS can also affect our economy and our politics”.

I can only repeat the words of hope for the world population, the words of prophecy rendered by one of the world's contemporary Divine Guardians or Masters of wisdom who, upon seeing Senator Barack Obama addressing the Democratic National Convention in 2004 for the first time uttered the following words: "There is an air of great inspiration in the personality of that man." And later on December 08, 2006, of Obama the same Born-Saint said these words: If the great country of America gets Senator Barack Obama for her president, America would be a very lucky country. This senator bears Virinimantiya, a special air of compassion about him that will bring about great constructive change not only in the American politics but in the politics of the entire world. If he becomes president, that special energy around him will diminish the war of terrorism without having to use guns and bombs. He carries the energy that dissipates the evil energy of grudges and hatred from people's hearts and conflicts between nations." In a way, those words may reveal a leader who may transform the world as a world leader, inspiring all people including Zanzibaris.
