The group's main aim was to serve as post counseling center to help women who have tested HIV positive both psychologically and economically. when meeting they normally talk about treatment literacy and living their lives positively.

They have as well initiated income-generating activities and proceedings from these activities are places in the group's loans and savings scheme. Four years later since the group started these women can now boast of their ability to overcome stigma in the society , being self reliant and now training and helping others who are of the same status in the community.
