"we normally train journalists and locate them in our content centers which are located in areas where the main stream media organizations do not have bureaus. The journalist then file stories from these communities which are then published on the Reject," says Florence Sipalla a Program officer With the Media Diversity Center.

Florence further adds that they have been able to influence the main stream media since most of their stories are picked up by these media organizations after being published on the reject and done from different angles.

The reject, currently on issue 21 is published online as well as through a daily newspaper 'The Star',It is also sent back after publication to the various content centers for distribution to the story sources.
