- I enjoy shopping but off late, shopping has become an excruciating activity. A few months ago, my favourite brand of yoghurt cost KSh 118 per litre now, it costs KSh 134. Bread (800g) used to retail at KSh 50 now, it costs KSh 63. If you love shopping like I do, that means digging deeper in the pocket - which is painful and cutting on basic items that have now become luxuries because of skyrocketing prices.
