The ever energetic dancehall musician, Black Mexxiah , The hard core Gavana is performing with Ace Jamaican reggae musician, Jah Mali on independence day 6th March 2011. According to a statement released by Madhatter Darcy, head of Madhatter Entertainment- managers of Jah Mali- from Jamaica, Jah Mali would be in Ghana for two main purposes - to link up with the motherland, thus playing on independence day “ and most importantly to play on the launch of Black Mexxiah’s foremost Album AT LONG LAST”, the statement read.
In an interview to confirm the story, Black Mexxiah declared that, indeed Jah Mali was coming “home” and to play “on my album launch”, he added. He also assured to give patrons a good jam for their money. Mexxiah added that, his link to Madhatter Entertainment was not going to be enjoyed selfishly but rather a special package has been set aside for Ghanaian musicians. He said good talents would be signed on a special tour package which would rake in millions of Ghana cedis.
However, in a video to confirm his coming, Jah Mali stated that he would be performing at the la beach. Meanwhile reports reaching this reporter suggest that the beach has been booked for another musician by the government. Stay tuned!
