Most people in Accra choose to watch the final match between Ghana and Egypt in a drinking bar or pub instead of home. They gave reasons such as comfortability and fun. saying that it was much fun in the pub than in the house.
Kofi Ababio told me that "I choose to watch the match here because my kids like to watch football too and I can not use certain words on a player when he performs badly in front of them, but in a pub, we are all adults and I can express myself".
Others said that " in a pub you can relax over a chilled bottle of beer and that can calm you down". However, for the owners of the pub, it was a day to make extra sales "I think I would make more sales than usual because so many people are buying, they are happy"
