Evans Wafula (1972), is among the first Mobile Reporters who took part in the preparatory and testing phases of the Voices of Africa Project. He is based in Nairobi, Kenya and has been practicing journalism since 1998.

He holds a Diploma in journalism and has other specialty in other fields; including human rights training. He has worked for various press organisations including the West Africa Magazine, Central Africa Journal, Eastern Africa Magazine, Business Week, and the London based Africa Week magazine.

Evans Wafula is a mobile reporter for the Voices of Africa project in Kenya. He sends photos, videos and stories from  cities and villages in Kenya.
