Diarrhea epidemics hits northern Tanzania

‘We have received about 40 patients and we are urging people to comply with health regulations as we continue to find out whether it is cholera or not’, Tarime District Health Officer Mr Joseph Marwa told Voices of Africa yesterday morning.
The patients included school children and women from rural families living below poverty line.
The Largest district hospital has set up emergency wards to admit any patient with diarrhea and vomiting cases.
The official confirmed only one death but declined to go into details.
