'Chipangali is not a zoo'. These are the words you hear from the guides when you get to the entrance of this historical place. Many will probably ask what it is- It's an Orphanage for the voiceless orphans from the wild.

Due to civilization and land distribution in the tenancy areas of the animals the competition becomes too stiff; with the humans becoming obvious winners due to their tact and ability to colonize an area in full strength. It is in that battle for supremacy and habitation that the weaker specie gets wounded and disjointed.

That's when Chipangali comes in to take in the animals and offer them lodges temporarily, till they are restored. The diversity of the species here ranges from primates; predators; felines; fowls' reptiles and; the microorganisms which are unseen by the naked eye.

The unseen ones are the most expensive to maintain as they usually affect the health of the animals especially during the current rainy season; taking that there are no vets who would offer monthly check-ups there is a high risk of many outbreaks. The health has been good due to the limited interaction with exterior animals the problem however is in that most of the sponsors who were active at the commencement of the orphanage have since pulled out and left their billboards within the tenancy resulting in the management working on a very low budget to cater for the costs of the animals.

This however has not discouraged The Wilsons who have been present in all the hardships. They have managed to work with the little that they have to make the place presentable with the hope of the tide of fortune will flow in their favor every year; this is an investment and also a place for advertising as it houses some rare species and many companies should take this as a mutual contract with the voiceless orphans.
